Purpose and user

The Cold Steel Leatherneck is a fixed-blade electrician tool with a 7.0 inch American tanto blade. It is built for professionals who need a sturdy cutting implement on the job site. The black powder coating adds corrosion resistance for daily carry. The black polymer handle provides a secure grip in varied conditions.

Build fit and clearance

This knife fits into a tool belt or pouch without needing a folding mechanism. Its fixed design means no moving parts to maintain or fail under heavy use. The 7.0 inch blade length handles conduit, cable jackets and general utility tasks. The polymer handle resists impact and chemical exposure common in electrical work.

Upgrade path and value

The Leatherneck replaces folding utility knives that can loosen or jam with debris. The jump is worth it when a user prefers a full-tang blade that will not fold under pressure. It suits buyers who want a dedicated fixed blade over multi-tools for heavy cutting. It is not for buyers who need a compact folder for pocket carry.
