MEOW R16 Pro Gaming Laptop

The MEOW R16 Pro is a 16.0-inch gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 8745HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 video memory. It ships with 16GB DDR5 4800 memory, a 512GB NVMe SSD, and Windows 11 Home. The 2560 x 1600 IPS panel covers 100% sRGB at 180 Hz.

Build Integration and Expandability

Two memory slots are provided so the 16GB DDR5 can be increased later. The 512GB NVMe drive handles the operating system and a core game library, while the 230W 20V/11.5A power adapter feeds the 115W GPU and the 5.1GHz max boost CPU. Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and 10/100/1000Mbps LAN cover wired and wireless connectivity.

Capacity and Practical Limits

The 512GB SSD fills quickly with modern titles, so external storage becomes necessary for larger libraries. 16GB DDR5 is adequate for current games at 2560 x 1600, yet memory-heavy workflows will benefit from an upgrade. The 180 Hz 100% sRGB display serves competitive play, while the 8GB GDDR7 frame buffer caps texture quality at the highest settings.

Questions about this item

Will the 230 W power brick keep the RTX 5060 at its 115 W full-power rating during long sessions?

Yes, the 230 W adapter supplies 20 V at 11.5 A, which covers the GPU's 115 W design plus CPU and system draw.

How loud and hot does the MEOW R16 Pro get when the Ryzen 7 8745HX and RTX 5060 run all day?

The 16-inch chassis uses a dual-fan layout; under sustained load the CPU can reach its 5.1 GHz boost while the GPU holds 115 W, so expect noticeable fan noise and warm keyboard areas.

What must I already own to use the 16-inch 2560 x 1600 180 Hz display with G-Sync?

The panel is driven directly by the RTX 5060 laptop GPU, so no external hardware is needed; Windows 11 Home and the installed NVIDIA drivers handle variable refresh automatically.
