Lenovo LOQ 15 Raider gaming laptop

The Lenovo LOQ 15 Raider is a 15.6 inch Windows 11 Home gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS eight core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6 GB GDDR6 memory. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 and a 1 TB PCIe SSD provide fast storage and memory bandwidth for modern titles and multitasking workloads.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The chassis measures 14.14 by 9.29 by .9 inches and weighs 3.89 pounds, housing a cooling system that manages the 3.20 GHz base clock and 4.75 GHz boost of the CPU alongside the discrete graphics. A 135 W USB-C Power Delivery port supplies charging while two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connections handle data and DisplayPort 1.4 output.

Upgrade path from older mid range laptops

This model replaces machines limited to 60 Hz panels and previous generation mobile GPUs by adding a 144 Hz FHD 1920 x 1080 display and RTX 4050 graphics. The jump is worth it when you need higher refresh rates for competitive play and the 6 GB video memory for current game textures at 1080p.
