Comgrow Black&White Filament is a 1.75 mm PLA spool weighing 2 kg and supplied new. It targets hobbyists and makers who need a single reel for extended printing sessions without frequent changeovers. The material suits general-purpose models, prototypes and decorative parts.

Dimensional tolerance and thermal window

Diameter consistency is held to +/- 0.02 mm, which keeps extrusion steady on most Bowden and direct-drive systems. The recommended nozzle temperature sits between 210 and 220 °C; printing outside this range can cause under-extrusion or stringing. Vacuum sealing with desiccant reduces moisture uptake, but the spool is not actively dried during use.

Replaces smaller spools for high-volume jobs

The 2 kg format replaces multiple 1 kg reels when a project demands uninterrupted runs or consistent colour batches. The jump is worth it if you regularly print large parts or batch-produce small items. It is not suited for printers limited to 1 kg spool holders or for users who switch materials frequently.
