20 Large Replacement Strips

This pack contains twenty white foam strips designed to refresh 3M Command large hooks. They bond to smooth indoor surfaces such as painted walls, finished wood, glass, metal and tile. Each strip supports items weighing up to five pounds. The adhesive removes cleanly without holes, marks or sticky residue.

Suitable for damage-free hanging

Renters, students and homeowners who want to re-hang large hooks without drilling will find these strips useful. They require a clean, smooth surface and indoor temperatures between fifty and one hundred five degrees Fahrenheit. They are not suited for textured walls, wallpaper, freshly painted surfaces under seven days old or hanging valuable or irreplaceable items.

Holds up to 5 lb per strip

The stated capacity of five pounds per strip is the key figure for deciding whether this pack meets your load requirements. Surfaces must be cleaned with rubbing alcohol before application and the strip pulled straight down for removal. Exceeding the weight limit or using on unsuitable surfaces can cause failure.

Questions about this item

What existing Command hooks do the 20 large replacement strips fit?

They are designed for 3M Command large hooks that accept the indoor large strip size.

Will the strips bond to painted concrete cinder blocks the same way they bond to painted drywall?

Yes, the adhesive works on both painted concrete cinder blocks and painted walls when the surface is cleaned with rubbing alcohol and the indoor temperature is between 50 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit.

How do I confirm the strips are holding the rated 5 lb after I press them on?

Wait the recommended cure time, then hang an object up to 5 lb; if it stays secure without peeling, the bond is working as intended.
