What This Mouse Pad Is

The Compucessory 23605 is a blue economy mouse pad built for everyday office or home use. Its smooth cloth surface gives reliable tracking for both ball and optical mice. A nonskid rubber base keeps the pad in place while protecting the desk underneath. The pad measures 8-1/2 inches wide by 9-1/2 inches deep and is 1/8 inch thick.

Who This Suits And Who Should Look Elsewhere

Workers who want a low-profile, single pad for a standard mouse will find the size and cloth surface practical. Buyers who need a larger surface for broad gestures, a gel wrist rest, or a hard gaming surface should look at other options. The compact footprint also limits space for a keyboard-and-mouse combo.

The Specification That Decides Fit

The critical measure is the 8-1/2 by 9-1/2 inch footprint combined with the 1/8 inch thickness. Verify that your desk area accommodates those exact dimensions before ordering. If the available space is smaller or you require a thicker cushioned pad, this model will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 8-1/2" by 9-1/2" pad require?

It occupies a footprint of 8-1/2 inches wide by 9-1/2 inches deep, so allow at least that much clear area on the desk.

What is the correct way to place the pad so the nonskid rubber base grips the desk?

Lay the pad with the blue cloth side facing up and the rubber base flat against the clean desk surface; pressing down firmly seats the base.

When should the Compucessory 23605 be replaced?

Replace it when the cloth surface wears smooth enough to degrade tracking or when the rubber base no longer grips the desk securely.
