SANOXY USB to Dual PS/2 Adapter (Black)

SKU CH-FSNW-ZY3DS

Connects a PS/2 keyboard and mouse to a single USB 1.1 port without external power

  • Connect mouse and keyboard via one USB port using dual PS/2 connectors
  • USB 1.1 HID compliant for broad Windows and Mac compatibility
  • No external power required for simple plug-and-play operation
  • 9-inch cable length allows flexible desktop placement
  • Single adapter replaces separate PS/2 ports for legacy peripherals

USB 1.1 dual PS/2 adapter

This SANOXY adapter connects one PS/2 keyboard and one PS/2 mouse to a single USB 1.1 port. It follows the USB 1.1 HID standard and draws power directly from the host. The cable measures approximately 9 inches and works with both Windows and Mac systems.

Legacy keyboard and mouse users

The adapter suits owners of older PS/2 peripherals who need to plug them into modern USB-only computers. It is not intended for users who require high-speed USB 2.0 or 3.0 bandwidth or those needing to connect USB-native devices.

Steady low-bandwidth operation

Because the device operates at USB 1.1 speeds, throughput remains constant during continuous typing or mouse movement. There is no burst-mode behaviour to consider; the HID protocol delivers predictable latency for standard input tasks.

Questions about this item

Does my computer need a free USB 1.1 port for this adapter to work?

Yes, the adapter plugs into a USB 1.1 port and draws all power from it, so no extra power supply is required.

Will my older PS/2 keyboard and mouse both work at the same time through the single USB connection?

The adapter provides two downstream PS/2 connectors, letting a PS/2 keyboard and a PS/2 mouse operate together on one USB 1.1 HID link.

How can I confirm the adapter is active after plugging it in?

Both the keyboard and mouse should respond immediately — caps-lock lights and pointer movement show the USB 1.1 HID connection is live.
