Dell PowerEdge T630 Server Memory

This 16GB kit contains two 8GB DDR4 ECC Registered DIMMs designed specifically for the Dell PowerEdge T630. It runs at 2133MHz with CL15 timing at 1.2V. The modules are 2Rx8 rank and use 288-pin form factor.

Upgrading from standard 8GB configurations

The server ships with 8GB removable memory and supports up to 384GB using Registered ECC RDIMMs or 768GB with LRDIMMs. This kit adds 16GB across two sockets and is worth installing when workloads exceed the base capacity. Mixing Registered and Unbuffered ECC modules is not supported.

Simple DIMM installation with bank rules

Insert the sticks into the 12 sockets per CPU for a total of 24 sockets in dual-CPU setups. Use identical modules within each memory bank; the 313/4G and 3138/4G 4GB parts may coexist in the system but not in the same bank. No heat spreader is guaranteed on these modules.
