16 GB DDR4 SODIMM running at 3200 MHz with CL16 timing and 1.35 V operation
This 16 GB DDR4 3200 SODIMM module upgrades laptops or small-form-factor systems that accept 260-pin memory. It runs at 3200 MHz with CL16 timings and 1.35 V. The unbuffered, non-ECC design suits mainstream consumer platforms.
At 1.35 V the module draws minimal power, so it adds little heat inside a compact chassis. No active cooling is required and the stick runs silently. Standard JEDEC timings of 16-18-18 avoid extra voltage stress.
The 2Rx8 rank layout works with most DDR4 SODIMM sockets. Mixing with other modules is possible, though the system will run at the speed of the slowest stick. A 64-bit operating system is needed to address the full capacity.

Align the notch on the module with the key in the slot, insert at an angle, then press down firmly until both side clips click. The step people miss is pressing evenly on both ends so the module seats fully and the clips engage.
No scheduled maintenance is required. Keep the slot and contacts free of dust. If the system becomes unstable, test with a known-good module; the manufacturer offers a limited lifetime exchange for manufacturing defects.
The module operates at 1.35V with 16-18-18 timings. Under sustained load the first limit is the CPU or chipset memory controller, which may downclock the module below 3200MHz if it cannot maintain the rated speed.
