Two 4 GB DDR3 SODIMM modules running at 1333 MHz with CL7 timing and 1.5 V operation
This kit contains two 4 GB DDR3 SODIMM modules rated at 1333 MHz with CL7 timings and 1.5 V operation. It is aimed at users upgrading compatible laptops or small-form-factor systems that accept 204-pin unbuffered non-ECC memory. The matched pair supports dual-channel bandwidth on platforms designed for DDR3.
Buyers with DDR3 laptops or embedded boards that take 204-pin SODIMMs and run at 1.5 V can use this kit to reach 8 GB total capacity. Systems requiring ECC, registered DIMMs, a different pin count, or a voltage other than 1.5 V cannot use these modules.
The modules operate at 1333 MHz (PC3-10600) with CAS latency 7. If the target platform only supports a lower DDR3 speed grade, the memory will downclock to the highest common speed. If the platform requires a higher DDR3 speed grade, these modules will limit the memory subsystem to 1333 MHz.

The modules use the 204-pin SODIMM form factor for DDR3 memory, so the laptop must provide DDR3 SODIMM slots.
All installed memory runs at the speed and timings of the slowest module; mixing with a higher-latency stick will force the CL7 kit to run at the looser timings.
Open Task Manager or a system-information utility and verify the memory speed reads 1333 MHz with CAS latency 7.
