Two matched 8 GB DDR4 DIMMs running at 2400 MHz with CL17 latency and 1.2 V unbuffered operation for desktop upgrades
This 288-pin DIMM kit contains two 8 GB modules rated at 2400 MHz with CL17 timings and 1.2 V operation. The unbuffered, non-ECC design suits standard consumer motherboards that accept DDR4 memory. Rank is 2Rx8 and the kit is sold as a matched pair.
Buyers whose platforms require ECC, registered modules, or a different DDR generation cannot use this kit. It is also unsuitable for laptops or small-form-factor boards that need SO-DIMMs, and for any system limited to speeds below 2400 MHz.
The motherboard and processor must support DDR4 at 2400 MHz with 17-17-17 timings at 1.2 V. If the platform demands another voltage, latency set, or memory generation, the modules will not operate correctly.

The 1.2 V rating is standard for DDR4 and keeps power draw and heat low during continuous operation.
A DDR4-compatible motherboard with 288-pin DIMM slots is required for this memory to function.
All installed memory will run at the slowest module's speed and timings, so mixing ranks or latencies may lower overall performance.
