Server-specific ECC registered kit

This 32 GB kit contains four 8 GB DDR3 1333 registered DIMMs built for the ASRock EP2C602-2TS6/D16 and EP2C602-4L/D16 servers. The modules run at 1.5 V with CL9 timing and provide error-correcting code for data integrity. They are designed only for those two server models and must be installed in matched quads.

Quad-channel population requirement

The server architecture demands that modules be ordered and installed in sets of four to enable quad-channel operation. Mixing registered, unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs in the same system is not supported, and x4 and x8 ranks cannot share a memory bank. With an Intel E5-1600 series processor only one CPU socket is used and only its corresponding DIMM sockets are active.

240-pin registered form factor

Each stick uses the standard 240-pin DDR3 registered interface, keyed for server motherboards that accept registered memory.
