A 4 GB (2 × 2 GB) DDR3 1333 MHz CL7 SO-DIMM kit validated for the 21.5-inch iMac 2.7 Mid-2011
This 4 GB kit contains two 2 GB DDR3 1333 MHz SODIMM modules built to the PC3 10600 standard. It is validated for the Apple iMac "Core i5" 2.7 21.5-inch Mid-2011 and installs in the factory SO-DIMM slots. The unbuffered, non-ECC design matches the original specification.
Two modules populate half the slots and leave two sockets free for a later upgrade to the 32 GB maximum the platform supports. The 4 GB total handles web browsing, office suites and light multitasking comfortably. Memory-intensive workloads such as virtual machines or large media libraries will exhaust the available RAM quickly.
The CAS latency of CL7 with 7-7-7 timing runs at the standard DDR3 voltage of 1.5 V. This combination delivers the responsiveness the memory controller expects without requiring voltage adjustments. Modules rated for higher latency or different voltage will not meet the platform timing requirements.

Yes, the 1333MHz speed matches the iMac's native DDR3 rate so the new sticks will run alongside the factory modules without downclocking.
Open About This Mac → System Report → Memory; each slot should show 2GB, 1333MHz, DDR3 and the part number CM2566410600SODRH.
Only a standard Phillips screwdriver is required to open the memory door; the 204-pin modules seat directly with no adapters.
