4GB DDR3L 1600 SODIMM module with CL11 timing and 1.35V operation for HP 2000 series notebooks
This 4 GB DDR3L SO-DIMM runs at 1600 MHz with CL11 timing at 1.35 V. It is built for HP and Compaq 2000 Series notebooks including the 2000-2D24Dx and 2000-2B20Ca models. The module is unbuffered, non-ECC and uses a 1Rx8 rank configuration. It installs directly into a 204-pin slot without a heat spreader.
The single specification that decides fit is the 1.35 V DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) rating. A standard 1.5 V DDR3 module will not operate correctly in these notebooks. The CL11 11-11-11 timing and 1Rx8 organisation must match the system memory controller requirements. No other voltage or speed combination is supported by the target platforms.
The notebooks provide two 204-pin SO-DIMM slots and support a maximum of 8 GB total. Adding this 4 GB stick leaves the second slot free for a matching module to reach the 8 GB limit. The upgrade requires no BIOS change and works with the existing DDR3-12800 or 10600 memory standard. Builders needing more than 8 GB or a different form factor cannot use this module.

The module runs at DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) with CL11 11-11-11 timings, so the notebook’s memory controller will operate it at up to 1600 MHz provided the platform supports that frequency.
DDR3L at 1.35 V limits the module to 1.35 V operation; it will not run at the higher 1.5 V used by standard DDR3, and the notebook must support DDR3L to use this stick.
Yes — it is a 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMM, the exact form factor used by the HP/Compaq 2000 Series notebooks listed, and the system has two such slots.
