Four 16 GB DDR4 SODIMM modules running at 2666 MHz with CL19 latency and 1.2 V operation
This kit provides four 16GB DDR4 SODIMM modules for a total of 64GB. It targets laptops or small-form-factor systems that accept 260-pin unbuffered non-ECC memory. The modules run at 2666MHz with CL19 timings at 1.2V.
The upgrade is worthwhile when the existing installation uses lower-frequency DDR4 or has fewer than four populated slots. Installing the full kit in matched pairs lets the memory controller operate at the rated 2666MHz speed. Mixing with slower modules will force all memory to run at the slowest installed speed.
Confirm the platform uses DDR4 SODIMM slots and can address 64GB across four sockets. A 64-bit operating system is required to use more than 4GB. The system will default to the lowest common speed if mixed modules are present.

Yes, the kit uses standard 260-pin DDR4 SODIMM modules that install in any laptop or small-form-factor board with DDR4 SO-DIMM sockets.
Power off, open the memory door, align each module's notch with the slot key, press firmly until the side clips click, then repeat for all four slots in matched pairs.
No firmware is required; the modules are passive components. If a stick ever fails, the manufacturer offers a lifetime exchange for manufacturing defects.
