Capacity and Compatibility

This 8 GB kit contains two 4 GB DDR4 DIMMs rated at 2400 MHz with CL17 timings. It is validated for MSI MPG Z490 GAMING PLUS, MPG Z490M GAMING EDGE WIFI and PRESTIGE X570 CREATION motherboards. The modules are non-ECC, unbuffered and operate at 1.2 V. A 64-bit operating system is required to address the full capacity.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous workloads the memory runs at its rated 2400 MHz speed with 17-17-17 timings. All installed modules will operate at the slowest module's performance level or the processor's capability. Matched pairs are recommended to maintain dual-channel throughput during extended sessions.

Platform Limits

The supported platform provides four DIMM sockets and a maximum capacity of 128 GB. Mixing with other brands is possible but will reduce the entire array to the lowest common speed. This kit uses 288-pin DDR4 technology only and is not compatible with other memory generations.
