16GB DDR3 SO-DIMM kit for Toshiba Satellite

This 16GB kit contains two 8GB DDR3 1600MHz SO-DIMM modules built for the Toshiba Satellite S855D-S5120, S855D-S5148 and S875-004. Each stick runs at 1.5V with CL11 timing and uses unbuffered non-ECC chips. The 204-pin form factor fits the two memory sockets in these notebooks. Buyers needing more than 16GB or a different DDR generation cannot use this kit.

Under continuous workloads the modules operate at the rated 1600MHz speed with 11-11-11 latency and 1.5V supply. The dual-rank 2Rx8 organisation helps maintain throughput when both slots are populated. No heat spreader is fitted so airflow in the chassis determines peak temperature. Systems limited to lower memory speeds will downclock the kit automatically.

Installation requires inserting both 204-pin sticks into the two available sockets until the retention clips engage.
