16 GB DDR3L 1600 MHz kit in two 204-pin SO-DIMM modules at CL11 1.35 V for Intel NUC5i5MYHE, NUC5i5RYH, NUC5i5RYK and NUC5i5RYB
This 16 GB kit contains two 8 GB DDR3L SO-DIMM modules rated at 1600 MHz with CL11 timings. It is built specifically for Intel NUC models NUC5i5MYHE, NUC5i5RYH and NUC5i5RYK where the board accepts a maximum of 16 GB across two slots. Buyers whose NUC already runs at that limit will not gain capacity from this kit.
The modules operate at 1.35 V and carry no heat spreader, relying on the NUC's internal airflow for cooling. At standard JEDEC voltage the power draw remains low and the unbuffered design adds no active noise; the system fan curve will dictate any audible change.
This kit replaces the factory-installed memory in the listed NUC units, taking the platform to its documented 16 GB ceiling. The jump is worthwhile when the current configuration is below that limit and the workload benefits from additional capacity; systems already populated to 16 GB see no change.

Power off and unplug the NUC, remove the bottom cover, insert each module at a 30-degree angle until the gold contacts disappear, then press down firmly until both side clips click — the step most people miss is fully seating both clips so the module lies flat.
No routine maintenance is required; the modules have no heat spreader and no moving parts. Replacement is only needed if a stick fails, which is covered by the manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty when purchased directly from Computer Memory Solutions.
The platform's maximum supported memory is 16GB across two sockets, so capacity is the first hard limit — the kit already fills both slots at the top speed of 1600MHz (PC3L 12800) with CL11 timing.
