8GB DDR4 2133MHz SODIMM module with CL15 timing and 1.2V operation for HP ProBook 650 G2 memory upgrades
This 8GB module is built for the HP ProBook 650 G2 notebook. It uses a 260-pin DDR4 SO-DIMM form factor and runs at 2133MHz with a CL15 latency. The stick is unbuffered, non-ECC and operates at 1.2V.
Standard DDR4 SO-DIMMs run cool and silent because they have no moving parts. At 1.2V the module draws minimal power from the laptop battery. No heat spreader is fitted, relying on the notebook's own airflow.
This part is validated for the ProBook 650 G2 series including part numbers T3L40UT, T3L89UT, V1P78UT, V1P79UT, V1P80UT, W0S36UT and W2A17UT. The system maximum is 16GB across two sockets. Buyers needing more than 16GB total or a different laptop model should look elsewhere.

Power off, unplug and remove the battery. Open the memory cover, align the notch on the 260-pin DDR4 module with the slot key, insert at an angle then press down until both side clips click. The step often missed is re-seating the battery before the first boot.
No scheduled maintenance is required. The module carries a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Replacement is only needed if a fault appears or if the system is later upgraded to the maximum 16GB using the second socket.
The practical limit is the ProBook 650 G2's two-slot, 16GB maximum capacity. Thermally, the unbuffered 1.2V DDR4 runs within spec without a heat spreader, so capacity ceiling is reached before thermal throttling.
