The 24 GB total fits comfortably into the 12 slots available per processor, leaving room to scale toward the platform maximum of 384 GB with registered ECC RDIMMs. The kit operates at the rated 1333 MHz; the system may also accept 1066 MHz or 1600 MHz modules that will down-clock to the supported speed.
