32 GB DDR3-1066 ECC registered quad-rank kit for Dell PowerEdge T310 servers
This 32GB kit contains four 8GB DDR3 1066MHz ECC Registered DIMMs built for the Dell PowerEdge T310. Each module runs at 1.5V with CL7 timing and a 4Rx8 quad-rank organisation. The 240-pin design matches the server's registered memory slots exactly.
Suited for administrators expanding a PowerEdge T310 that uses a Xeon 3400 series processor and requires registered ECC memory. Not for systems that only accept unbuffered ECC modules, nor for platforms limited to single or dual-rank DIMMs. Mixing registered and unbuffered ECC is not supported by this server.
The kit fills all four quad-rank slots supported by the T310, delivering the full 32GB registered ECC capacity. Population rules limit the first dual-channel bank to 1066MHz; adding modules to the second bank drops speed to 800MHz, and a third bank is disabled. DDR3-1333 modules automatically clock down to match these constraints.

Yes, the T310 requires an Intel Xeon 3400-series processor to support registered ECC RDIMMs; Celeron, Pentium and Core i CPUs only accept unbuffered ECC memory.
The first two modules in the primary dual-channel bank run at 1066 MHz; adding the second pair in the next bank drops that bank to 800 MHz, and a third bank would be disabled.
Check the BIOS memory configuration or a system utility such as CPU-Z; the first bank should report 1066 MHz and the second bank 800 MHz for quad-rank modules.
