Capacity and Compatibility

This 2GB DDR2 SO-DIMM module is built for specific Asus Eee PC netbooks including the 702, 900, 900A, 900 XP and 1201T models. It uses a 200-pin form factor and runs at 800 MHz with CL6 latency. The unbuffered, non-ECC design matches the original memory specification for these systems.

Bus Speed Limitation

Although the module is rated for 800 MHz operation, the Intel Atom processor in these netbooks runs the memory bus at up to 667 MHz. The stick will downclock automatically to match the processor limit. A BIOS update is required after installation so the system recognises the full 2048MB capacity.
