Outdoor Smart Plug with Remote

The Comyan 310190 is a wall-mounted outdoor smart plug that adds remote dimming and timer control to two grounded outlets. It is built for homeowners who want to manage patio or string lights from inside the house without rewiring. Voice assistants including Alexa, Google Assistant and HomeKit can also adjust the connected load. The plug is not suitable for low-voltage 12 V string lights or non-lighting appliances.

Weather-Resistant Housing and Mounting

The black enclosure measures 7.4 in by 5.3 in by 2.36 in and carries a water- and dust-proof rating for covered outdoor areas. Two grounded sockets let you dim two light sets together from a single point. The supplier advises mounting the unit at least 55 in above ground level to keep the remote link stable and warns against leaving it exposed in open rain to avoid shock risk. No internal battery is fitted so mains power is required.

100 ft Radio Range

The included handheld remote communicates with the plug up to 100 ft away, letting you switch or dim lights across a typical garden or patio without stepping outside. Fixed dimming steps at 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent plus a 10 to 100 percent slide give fine brightness control. Timers can be set for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours for automatic shut-off. Buyers who need individual outlet control or support for 12 V lighting should look elsewhere.
