Condor 480H58 Not An Exit Sign 14" W 10" H Aluminum Red

Purpose and audience

The Condor 480H58 is a horizontal rectangular safety sign that reads "Not An Exit" in English on a red and white background. It is intended for facility managers and maintenance teams who need to mark doorways or corridors that could be mistaken for emergency exits. The aluminum construction suits indoor or covered outdoor mounting where durability matters.

Installation notes

The sign arrives as a single-sided panel with pre-drilled corners for screw or bolt fixing to walls, doors or posts. No adhesive or wiring is required, so a basic drill and fasteners are the only tools needed. The main difficulty is ensuring the mounting surface is flat; uneven masonry can leave gaps that catch wind or allow moisture behind the panel.

Capacity and limits

At 14 inches wide by 10 inches high the legend remains legible at typical corridor viewing distances. The aluminum face resists fading and minor impacts, but the material will dent if struck by heavy equipment or vehicles. It carries a California Proposition 65 notice for a listed chemical, so installers should handle with gloves and avoid cutting or grinding the panel.
