Exit Sign for Facility Safety

The Condor 480L87 is a horizontal rectangular exit sign designed for indoor facility and traffic safety applications. It displays the word Exit in English text on a white background with a single printed side. The unit is constructed from white plastic and measures 36 inches wide by 24 inches high. This equipment is intended for building managers and safety officers who need compliant egress marking.

Suited for Standard Egress Marking

This sign fits locations that require a single-sided, English-language exit legend in a horizontal format. It is not suitable for bilingual requirements, double-sided visibility needs, or installations that demand a different legend style or background colour. Buyers needing illuminated or photoluminescent variants should look at other product categories.

Dimensions and Coverage Capacity

At 36 inches wide and 24 inches high, the sign provides a large visual surface for clear recognition across corridors and open areas. The 480L87 model number identifies this specific size and legend configuration. The plastic construction handles normal indoor mounting conditions but offers no weather-sealing rating for prolonged outdoor exposure.

Questions about this item

What mounting hardware do I need to install the 36" wide by 24" high plastic exit sign?

The sign itself is a single-sided plastic panel with the legend "Exit" on a white background; mounting brackets, screws or adhesive are not included and must be supplied separately.

Can I use the Condor 480L87 alongside older metal exit signs in the same corridor?

Yes, the white plastic panel with printed text matches standard exit-sign dimensions and visibility requirements, so it will blend with existing metal units without electrical or structural conflicts.

How can I verify the sign is correctly oriented and legible after mounting?

Stand at the required viewing distance and confirm the word "Exit" reads left-to-right on the white face; the single-sided print should be visible from the approach side only.
