Cash Deposit Bag 9 x 12 Inches

The Controltek 585089 is a plastic deposit bag designed for cash handling in retail environments. It uses Press2Lok technology for straightforward closure that supports quick employee training. Patented security features alert staff to attempted tampering during transit or storage. Each pack supplies 100 bags for daily deposit routines.

Capacity and Headroom

The bag measures 9 inches wide by 12 inches deep, providing space for standard cash bundles and deposit slips. A 2 mil thickness offers basic tear resistance for routine handling. It is not suited for heavy coin loads or bulky documentation that would stress the glue closure. The single-use design means a fresh bag is required for each deposit cycle.

Build Quality and Daily Use

The white and gray plastic construction includes a press-to-close glue seal that activates with finger pressure. No heat sealer or separate adhesive is needed at the point of sale. Bags are supplied flat and stack neatly in a cash drawer or back-office shelf. The disposable format eliminates bag tracking and return logistics for the business.

Questions about this item

Will the 9 x 12 inch SafeLOK bag fit in the same drop-slot as our old 9 x 12 deposit pouches?

Yes, the bag measures 9 inches wide by 12 inches deep, matching the standard drop-slot size used by most retail safes.

How can I verify the Press2Lok closure has sealed properly after loading the bag?

Press the adhesive strip firmly; the patented tamper-indicating graphics will show a clear void pattern if the seal is broken, confirming a secure closure.

Does the pack of 100 include any deposit slips or tamper-evident tape, or must those be ordered separately?

The pack contains 100 SafeLOK deposit bags only; deposit slips and additional tamper-evident tape are sold separately.
