What the clips hold

The eight-piece set uses a magnetic latch to secure cables up to 7.5 mm in diameter, covering USB, HDMI, headphone and most laptop charger cords. Each clip measures 0.79 by 0.79 by 0.67 inches and weighs 0.041 kilograms in total. They suit desk, nightstand, wall or car dashboard mounting. Buyers who need to route thicker power leads or conduit will not find a large enough opening here.

Adhesive bond and surface care

A PET sticky pad on each base grips smooth, dry surfaces such as wood, glass or ceramic tile without leaving residue when removed. The supplier recommends pressing for 30 seconds and waiting 12 to 24 hours before loading the clip. No screws, tools or thermal considerations are involved. Installers who cannot clean the mounting area thoroughly should expect weaker hold.

Magnetic latch reliability

The single specification that decides fit is the 7.5 mm maximum cord diameter enforced by the magnetic closure. Cables thicker than this will not seat properly and can detach during use. The crystal multicolor finish adds visual variety but does not change the mechanical limit. If your cables exceed that diameter, this organiser will not work.

Questions about this item

How do I install the magnetic cable clips and what step do people often miss?

Clean the surface thoroughly, press each clip firmly for 30 seconds, then wait 12 to 24 hours before routing cables so the adhesive bonds properly.

Will the adhesive pads need replacement and how do I know when?

The PET sticky pads are designed for one-time mounting; if a clip loosens or leaves residue when removed, replace that clip with a new unit from the pack.

What is the first limit I will hit when using these clips continuously?

Each clip holds cords up to 0.3 inch (7.5 mm) diameter, so thicker power bricks or bundled cables will exceed the magnetic grip first.
