Magnetic Cable Organiser 9-Pack

This nine-piece set uses magnetic clips to keep charging cables and data leads in place on desks, walls or vehicle dashboards. Each clip accepts cords up to about .3 inch in diameter, covering most USB, HDMI and headphone wires. The self-adhesive backing bonds to smooth, dry surfaces such as wood, glass or ceramic tile.

Adhesion And Daily Use

A PET sticky pad provides a firm hold without leaving residue or damaging the mounting surface when removed. The manufacturer advises cleaning the area first, pressing for 30 seconds and then waiting 12 to 24 hours before loading cables. Magnetic locking keeps connectors secure yet allows quick one-hand release during regular use.

Clip Diameter 0.8 Inch

The critical dimension is the 0.8 inch clip housing that determines which plugs fit inside; larger power bricks or thick appliance cords will not sit in these organisers. Buyers needing to route heavier gauge cables or mount clips on rough or porous surfaces should look for a different solution.

Questions about this item

Do the clips generate any heat or noise when cables stay in them all day?

The clips are passive plastic organisers with no electronics, so they produce no heat and make no sound.

What surface preparation is required before the adhesive pads will hold?

Clean the mounting area until it is dust-free, press each pad for 30 seconds, then wait 12 to 24 hours for full bond strength.

Will the 0.8 in clips grip the thicker barrel connector on my older laptop charger?

The magnetic opening accepts cords up to 0.3 in (7.5 mm) diameter, so most barrel plugs larger than that will not fit.
