Folding utility knife with quick-change blades

The COOL PARD EDC CL09-3 is a compact folding utility knife that uses a rail lock for secure opening and closing. Its frame is built from stainless steel and glass-filled nylon, and the handle has a fibre finish for grip. The knife ships with four spare razor blades and a screw for fast changes without tools. A pocket clip keeps it attached to belts, packs or pockets for everyday carry.

Suited to light cutting tasks, not heavy chopping

This knife handles paper, cardboard, rope, leather, carpet, drywall and similar materials in home, office or workshop settings. The replaceable blade system keeps the edge sharp for repetitive slicing. Users who need a fixed-blade knife for prying, batoning or sustained heavy cutting should look at a different tool. The folding design also means the blade length is limited by the handle size.

Rail lock secures the blade during use

The rail lock mechanism locks the blade open so it will not fold back under pressure, and it releases smoothly for closing. This single locking feature determines whether the knife feels safe for the intended work. If a liner lock, frame lock or slip-joint is preferred, this model will not match that requirement.
