Amber EDC Folding Utility Knife

The COOL PARD EDC CL09 is an amber coloured folding utility knife built for everyday carry. It uses a rail lock mechanism to secure the blade during use and folds away for pocket storage. The handle is made from glass filled nylon with a fibre finish for grip and wear resistance. A pocket clip keeps the knife accessible on belts, bags or pockets.

Quick Change Blade System Included

Four extra razor blades and a retaining screw are supplied with the knife. The design allows the user to swap a dull blade for a fresh one without tools by loosening the screw. This reduces downtime when cutting paper, cardboard, cloth, rope, leather, PVC, carpet or drywall. The stainless steel frame holds the blade rigid so it does not shift during heavy cuts.

Simple Pocket Carry and Blade Swaps

The knife ships assembled and ready to clip onto a pocket or pack. Blade changes only require turning the screw by hand, though the screw can loosen with vibration and should be checked before each use. The rail lock engages positively but must be fully seated to prevent accidental closure. Users who need a fixed blade or a locking mechanism that does not rely on a sliding rail may prefer a different style.

Questions about this item

How do I replace the blade on the CL09 and what parts are included?

The knife ships with four extra razor blades and a screw; loosen the screw, swap the dull blade for a fresh one, then retighten.

What stops the blade from folding during heavy cutting?

A rail lock secures the blade open so it cannot close under pressure while you work.

Does the fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle get hot or slip during all-day use?

The ergonomic fiber handle resists heat buildup and provides a non-slip grip for extended sessions.
