Compatible TN450 Black Toner for Brother Laser

This aftermarket cartridge replaces Brother TN450 and TN420 units in a wide range of monochrome laser models. It fits HL-2270DW, HL-2280DW, MFC-7360N, MFC-7860DW and many other HL, MFC and DCP series printers listed in the compatibility data.

Single-pack cartridge delivers 2600-page yield

The black toner is rated for up to 2,600 A4 pages measured at the industry-standard 5% coverage. No drum unit, waste container or chip is bundled; the cartridge installs directly into the printer’s existing toner slot.

2600-page yield at 5% coverage decides fit

Buyers printing significantly more than 2,600 pages per cartridge cycle will need a higher-capacity option. Offices requiring colour output or inkjet technology cannot use this monochrome laser toner.

Questions about this item

What separate part will need replacing after the TN450 toner runs out?

The DR450 or DR420 drum unit is a separate consumable that must be replaced once its own life ends, independent of the toner cartridge.

At what page count does the 2 600-page yield assume standard coverage?

The 2 600-page figure is based on 5 % coverage on A4 paper; higher coverage will reach the limit sooner.

Does the cartridge add noticeable heat or noise during long print runs?

The toner cartridge itself has no moving parts or power draw, so it adds no extra heat or noise beyond the printer's normal operation.
