Compatible toner and drum set

The four-pack bundles Cool Toner TN450 toner cartridges with DR420 drum units for Brother laser printers. Each toner yields 2,600 pages and each drum yields 12,000 pages in black. The set suits home offices or small businesses that print moderate volumes and want a single order to cover both consumables.

Steady print output over time

Toner and drum are engineered to maintain consistent density across the full rated life rather than fading after a few hundred pages. The drum unit is rated for 12,000 pages so it outlasts several toner changes without replacement. This reduces the frequency of interventions during long print runs.

Questions about this item

Does the DR420 drum unit run hot or make noise during long print runs?

The DR420 drum is a passive laser component with no moving parts of its own; heat and noise come from the printer engine, not the drum.

Must I already own a Brother HL-2270DW or another listed model for this set to work?

Yes — the TN450 toner and DR420 drum are compatible only with the Brother and Konica Minolta printers listed, such as HL-2270DW, MFC-7860DW, or DCP-7065DN.

Will the TN450 toner work if I keep an older DR420 drum already in the printer?

The TN450 toner is designed to pair with a DR420 drum rated for 12,000 pages; using an older drum may reduce print quality or yield.
