Compatible toner set for Brother colour lasers

This four-pack replaces Brother TN635XL and TN635 cartridges in the HL-L8430CDW, HL-L8430CDWT, HL-L8570CDW, MFC-L8730CDW, MFC-L8930CDW, MFC-L8970CDW and MFC-EX575 printers. It supplies black, cyan, magenta and yellow toner for offices that print colour documents daily.

Page yield and print quality

The set delivers approximately 5500 pages from the black cartridge and 4500 pages from each colour cartridge at five-per-cent coverage on Letter or A4 paper. Output is formulated for vivid colours and clear text across the full yield range.

Chip-equipped cartridges for direct installation

Each cartridge includes a chip that communicates with the printer so the set works without extra configuration. The bundle covers all four colours in one box, removing the need to order separate cartridges for each colour. Not suited for users who only need a single black cartridge or who require a higher-yield XXL variant.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TN635XL cartridges in my Brother MFC-L8930CDW without triggering a chip error?

Power on the printer, open the front cover, remove each old cartridge by pulling its handle straight out, then insert the matching Cool Toner TN635XL cartridge until it clicks; the built-in chip registers automatically so the printer recognises the new toner immediately.

Which component will need replacement first after printing roughly 4,500 colour pages at 5 % coverage?

The cyan, magenta and yellow TN635XLC, TN635XLM and TN635XLY cartridges each yield about 4,500 pages, so one of the three colour toners will run out before the black TN635XLBK, which is rated for 5,500 pages.

What print-quality limit appears first during a long, continuous job on the HL-L8570CDW?

After about 4,500 pages of colour output or 5,500 pages of black output at 5 % coverage the toner powder is depleted, causing fading or streaks until the empty cartridge is replaced.
