Build-ready mid-tower

The Cooler Master CMP 520 is a black ATX mid-tower chassis built from steel with a tempered-glass panel. It accepts ATX, microATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, giving system integrators and DIY builders a versatile platform for mainstream gaming or workstation assemblies.

Cooling and drive layout

Six 120 mm and four 140 mm fan mounts provide flexible airflow planning, while 240 mm and 280 mm radiator support covers most closed-loop liquid coolers. Two 3.5-inch drive bays handle bulk storage, and the front panel supplies USB and audio connections without occupying a 5.25-inch bay.

Sustained thermal behaviour

The open fan-grid design and multiple large-diameter mount points let installed coolers move high volumes of air at lower RPM, keeping component temperatures stable during extended render or compute sessions. No 360 mm or larger radiator fits, so builders planning extreme overclocks should verify cooler clearance before purchase.
