Cord Cover Design and Material

The Cordinate 47348 is a self-adhesive floor cord cover made from durable polyvinyl chloride. Its grey, low-profile rounded design blends with modern décor while protecting cables from foot traffic and wheeled equipment. The 72-inch length can be cut to fit shorter runs.

Suitable Uses and Limitations

This cover suits homes, offices, event venues and warehouses needing a simple, low-profile way to hide extension cords, power strips or HDMI cables across floors or countertops. It is not for buyers who need a wall-mounted raceway, a heavy-duty outdoor-rated protector or a cover wide enough for large cable bundles exceeding the 2.5-inch channel width.

Key Specification — Split Channel and Adhesive

The pre-split bottom channel lets you insert cables without threading, and the included double-sided tape secures the cover to most flat surfaces without tools or cutting. This all-in-one installation method decides whether the product fits your cable-management workflow.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 72 inch Cordinate 47348 floor cord cover and what step do people often miss?

Clean the floor thoroughly, peel the backing from the included double-sided tape on the pre-split bottom channel, press the cover firmly in place, then slide cables into the channel; the step often missed is proper surface cleaning before applying the tape.

What maintenance or replacement will the Cordinate 47348 cord cover need over time?

The PVC cover itself is durable for heavy traffic, but the double-sided tape adhesive may lose grip on dusty or uneven floors; plan to replace the tape if the cover lifts, and wipe the grey surface with a damp cloth to maintain appearance.

What is the first limit I will hit when running cables through the Cordinate 47348 cover continuously?

The 2.5 inch width and pre-split channel limit the total cable bundle diameter; forcing too many HDMI, power or extension cords will prevent the cover from lying flat and create a tripping hazard.
