Product Identity

This diecast model replicates the Lotus Esprit S1 submarine from the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me. It is produced by Corgi as an officially licensed, limited-edition collectible aimed at adult hobbyists and film-memorabilia enthusiasts. The piece arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging with a dedicated collector's display box.

Display Behaviour

The model is a sealed unit with no opening doors, hood or hatches, so its detailed exterior and interior remain fixed behind the display case. White paintwork and true-to-scale proportions are preserved indefinitely without dust ingress or moving-part wear. Collectors who prefer interactive features such as steerable wheels or removable panels will not find them here.

Installation Reality

Setup consists of removing the model from its protective packaging and placing it on a shelf or inside the supplied display box. Diecast metal construction with some plastic parts makes the item heavier than plastic-only replicas, so a stable surface is advisable. No assembly, tools or batteries are required, and there are no reported fitment issues with the supplied display box.
