Scale & Subject

This is a 1/72 scale diecast model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4/B Jabo fighter-bomber flown by Oberleutnant Walter Rupp of 3./JG53 during the 1940 Battle of Britain. It belongs to Corgi's "The Aviation Archive" series and is produced as a limited edition. The model suits adult collectors and military-history enthusiasts who value accurate scale replicas.

Bundled Extras

The box includes a dedicated display stand that allows the aircraft to be shown in a flying attitude without additional support. Weapon accessories are also supplied, letting the builder equip the model with historically accurate ordnance for the Jabo variant. Both items are integrated into the original unopened packaging, so no separate purchases are required to complete the presentation.

Assembly & Pitfalls

The model arrives fully assembled in the manufacturer's original packaging, so no construction or painting is needed. Handling the diecast metal and plastic parts requires care because antennas, panel lines and surface details are delicate and can bend if gripped too firmly. The display stand must be seated securely on a level surface; otherwise the model may tilt or fall when disturbed.
