Beatles London Taxi Collectible

This 1:36 scale diecast model replicates the right-hand-drive London taxi featured on the Yellow Submarine soundtrack artwork. It is an officially licensed collectible aimed at adult hobbyists and fans of the band's 1969 animated film.

Diecast Display Model

The model arrives in a brand new, unopened box and requires no assembly or batteries for display. Its sealed construction means there are no opening doors or bonnet, so it sits ready on a shelf without loose parts to manage.

Psychedelic Livery Upgrade

This limited edition replaces standard Corgi taxi castings with a black and red finish printed with film character imagery and Japanese release artwork. The jump is worth it for collectors who want the specific Yellow Submarine graphics rather than a generic London cab.

Questions about this item

How does the 1:36 scale limit the level of interior detail you can see?

The model has a detailed interior moulded in diecast metal and plastic, but the fixed body means you cannot open doors or the roof to view it closely.

Will the paint or graphics degrade if the taxi sits on a shelf in daylight all day?

The diecast body with applied graphics is stable under normal indoor display conditions; no heat or light issues are reported for this collectible.

Does the model need a display base or stand that is not included?

It rests on its own real rubber tyres, so no separate stand or base is required for display.
