White 8-pin GPU power adapter with 180-degree U-turn connector

Corn Electronics

Corn Electronics 8-Pin GPU Power Adapter 180 Degree White

SKU CH-FCB8-VWEPE

An 180-degree adapter that re-routes a PCIe 8-pin power cable horizontally for tight chassis clearance

Color White

Style RVS

Angle 180 Degree

  • 180-degree turn lowers cable height for tight chassis
  • horizontal routing keeps interior tidy and solves top-cover clearance
  • thickened copper on multi-layer board ensures stable power delivery
  • solid pins and plastic shell protect against short circuits
  • works with any graphics card using a PCIe 8-pin connector including Radeon models

What this adapter does

The Corn Electronics 8-Pin GPU Power Adapter reroutes a standard PCIe 8-pin cable through a 180-degree turn so the connector sits horizontally against the graphics card. It is built for builders who need to fit a full-length card into a compact case where vertical clearance above the power socket is limited.

Compatibility check

This adapter fits any graphics card or device that uses a standard PCIe 8-pin power socket, including models from ASUS, ASRock, EVGA, Gigabyte, Radeon, Sapphire and NVIDIA. It will not work with 6-pin, 12VHPWR or proprietary power connectors, so buyers using those interfaces need a different solution.

Thermals and power

Thickened copper traces on a multi-layer PCB and solid plug pins keep resistance low and the connection stable under normal GPU load. A plastic housing insulates the contacts to prevent short circuits, while the horizontal routing improves airflow around the power cables without adding active cooling or noise.

Questions about this item

How does the 180-degree turn change cable routing inside the case?

The adapter rotates the 8-pin connector from vertical to horizontal, lowering the cable height so it clears tight side panels and top covers.

What power standard does the 8-pin connector follow?

It uses the standard PCIe 8-pin interface found on modern graphics cards and power supplies.

How much clearance does the right-angle design add behind the graphics card?

The horizontal orientation keeps the cable close to the card edge, minimising the depth needed behind the GPU.
