Irregular Micro-ATX Chassis

The Corn Electronics Alien case uses an open-frame layout without dust filters, so it suits builders who want a showpiece rather than a sealed enclosure. It accepts Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX boards and ships with six pre-installed 120mm RGB fans across front, top and rear positions. Tempered-glass side panels expose the interior for component visibility. Buyers who need dust protection or a completely closed case should look elsewhere.

Thermals With Six Fans

Six 120mm fans provide intake at the front and exhaust through the top and rear, creating a direct airflow path through the open structure. A 240mm radiator can be mounted on the top for liquid cooling, while the CPU cooler clearance reaches 165mm for tower air coolers. The open design means fan noise is not dampened by panels, so acoustic output will be higher than in a conventional closed case. Power supply mounts at the bottom in standard ATX PS2 form factor.

GPU Clearance 330mm

Maximum graphics-card length is 330mm when the 3.5-inch drive bays are empty; installing drives reduces that space. Two 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch bays are available internally, with four expansion slots at the rear. Front I/O includes one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, audio and microphone jacks. Overall dimensions are 560 by 220 by 430mm. Systems needing longer cards or more internal storage bays will not fit.

Questions about this item

How do I install a 240 mm radiator in the top of this case, and what step do people get wrong?

Mount the 240 mm radiator to the top 2×120 mm fan positions before fitting the motherboard; the common mistake is installing the board first and then finding no clearance for the radiator and tubing.

What maintenance or replacement will the six included 120 mm fans need later?

The six pre-installed 120 mm fans use standard mounting holes; when bearings wear or noise rises, swap any fan for another 120 mm unit without changing screw locations.

What is the first limit I will hit if I run a long GPU and a 240 mm radiator together under sustained load?

The 330 mm maximum GPU length applies only when no 3.5″ drive is fitted; adding a drive or a thick front fan reduces that clearance, so GPU length becomes the limiting factor.
