Evangelion EVA 01 keycap set

This 140-key PBT set carries the Evangelion EVA 01 theme and is built for mechanical and optical keyboards that use cross-shaped MX-compatible stems. It covers standard ANSI layouts from 61 to 108 keys, making it a single kit for most custom builds. Only the keycaps are included; no keyboard or loading board ships with the package.

Cherry profile and 5-sided dye-sub legends

The caps use Cherry profile, which sits lower than OEM height, so buyers should confirm the profile matches their typing preference before ordering. Legends are applied with dye-sublimation, and the spacebar plus ESC key receive 5-sided coverage for fade resistance. Wall thickness measures 1.3 to 1.6 mm for added rigidity.

Oil-resistant PBT holds texture under heavy use

The PBT material resists skin oils, keeping the surface from turning glossy during long typing or gaming sessions. Dye-sub legends do not wear off like pad-printed alternatives, so characters stay legible after months of daily use. Thick walls reduce flex on wide keys such as the spacebar, maintaining a consistent feel over time.

Questions about this item

How does the 140-key count cover my keyboard layout?

The 140 keycaps include every standard size for 61, 64, 68, 71, 82, 84, 87, 96, 104 and 108 ANSI MX boards, so one set fits compact to full-size layouts without extra kits.

What does the Cherry-profile height mean for typing feel?

Cherry profile sits lower than OEM, giving a flatter top surface and shorter travel that many typists find faster and less fatiguing during long sessions.

Will these caps mount on my MX-style switches?

Yes, every cap has a cross-shaped stem that fits any Cherry MX compatible switch, including optical variants, so they snap on without adapters.
