Portable Soldering Fume Extractor

The Corn Electronics fume extractor is a compact desktop unit designed for hobbyists and professionals who solder electronics, jewellery or stained glass. It draws smoke and flux fumes away from the breathing zone using a built-in fan and replaceable activated carbon filters. An integrated LED light illuminates the work area in low-light conditions. ABS Housing and Replaceable Filters

The body is moulded from high-grade ABS with a dull polish finish that resists knocks and chemical splashes. Its small footprint keeps the extractor close to the soldering iron without crowding the bench. Three activated carbon filters are supplied; each combines urethane foam with activated carbon to trap particulates and odours. Filters slide out for quick replacement when saturated.

The extractor requires a 110 V 50/60 Hz supply, so it must be used near a compatible mains socket or adapter. The five-blade EC motor is rated for over 57000 hours of continuous running while keeping noise and vibration low. Effective capture distance is approximately 4 to 5 inches from the nozzle, meaning the unit must sit close to the joint.
