Full-size mechanical layout

The Corn Electronics GK706 is a wired mechanical gaming keyboard with 104 keys in a black and grey colour scheme. Blue switches provide tactile feedback and an audible click for each keystroke. Blue LED backlighting illuminates the legends for low-light use. It connects via USB and requires no additional software to operate.

Membrane or quiet-switch upgrade

Users moving from a standard membrane keyboard will notice a distinct tactile bump and click sound that confirms actuation. The mechanical design suits typists and gamers who prefer audible feedback during long sessions. Buyers who need silent operation for shared spaces or linear switches for rapid double-taps will not find those characteristics here.

USB wired connection limits

The keyboard draws power and transmits data over a single USB cable, so a free port is required at all times. Cable routing is fixed and the unit cannot be used wirelessly or paired with multiple devices. No onboard memory is described, so lighting and key assignments reset when the keyboard is unplugged.
