What the SG500 headset is

The Corn Electronics SG500 is a wired gaming headset with a 3.5 mm connector and surround-sound capability. It is built for players who want a lightweight, foldable design that works across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Switch and mobile devices without any drivers.

Check your device before ordering

Verify that your controller or system has a 3.5 mm audio jack; older Xbox One controllers need a separate adaptor that is not included. No software installation is required, so the headset will work immediately once the physical connection is made.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The SG500 suits gamers who value portability, a detachable microphone and memory-foam comfort for long sessions. It is not for buyers who want a wireless connection, USB audio, active noise cancellation or a dedicated surround-sound processor.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the SG500 headset and do I need to buy anything else for my console?

The headset includes detachable magnetic memory-foam ear pads and a bendable noise-cancelling microphone on a foldable frame. It connects via the 3.5 mm jack so no extra adapter is needed for PS5, PS4, Switch, PC or Mac; older Xbox One controllers require a separate 3.5 mm adapter.

Which version of the SG500 should I choose for my setup?

Only the pink SG500 model is offered. It is a single 3.5 mm analogue headset with surround-sound capability, foldable design and detachable ear pads — no wireless, USB or alternative-colour variants exist in this listing.

How does the surround-sound feature actually perform in games?

The headset delivers virtual surround audio through its 3.5 mm connection, letting you hear directional cues such as footsteps, gunfire and vehicle movement more clearly. The bendable mic filters background noise and static for clear voice chat during long sessions.
