Core gaming keyboard

The Corsair K70 RGB PRO is a mechanical gaming keyboard built around Cherry MX Speed switches and a durable aluminium frame. Per-key RGB backlighting and 8 MB of on-board memory support up to 50 stored profiles for portable setups. A magnetic detachable palm rest adds comfort during extended sessions.

Upgrade from membrane or slower switches

The keyboard replaces standard membrane boards and slower mechanical switches with linear Cherry MX Speed switches rated for rapid actuation. AXON technology processes inputs up to 8x faster than typical gaming keyboards. A dedicated tournament switch disables macros and lighting instantly for competition rules compliance.

Competitive players needing speed and reliability

Suits esports enthusiasts and fast-paced gamers who prioritise low-latency keystrokes and durable PBT double-shot keycaps. The wired USB 3.0 connection ensures consistent performance without wireless interference. Buyers who want more switch variety, wireless freedom, or a compact form factor should look at something else.

Questions about this item

What USB port does the K70 RGB PRO need on my PC?

It connects through a single USB 3.0 port using the included braided USB Type-C cable.

How do I attach the palm rest and what is the common mistake?

The soft-touch palm rest snaps on magnetically; the mistake is forcing it instead of letting the magnets align it.

When will the PBT double-shot keycaps need replacing?

PBT double-shot legends do not wear off, so the caps only need replacement if a switch fails or a cap is physically damaged.
