ATX 3.1 power supply for modern builds

The Corsair RM1000e delivers 1000 W through an ATX 3.1 compliant design that supports the PCIe 5.1 power standard. It targets system builders who need reliable energy delivery for high-end graphics cards and multi-core processors. The fully modular cable set lets you connect only the leads your configuration requires.

Full modular cabling and compact 160 mm length

A 24-pin main connector and a single 12VHPWR (12+4) PCIe lead handle primary power distribution. Fully modular sockets keep the interior tidy and simplify routing in cases with limited space behind the motherboard tray. Black 105°C-rated capacitors provide electrical stability across the operating range.

120 mm rifle bearing fan with optimised curve

The fan spins only when load demands it, keeping acoustic output low during typical desktop workloads. Cybenetics Gold certification confirms high efficiency across the 100-240 V input range at 47-63 Hz. Modern Standby compatibility enables rapid wake-from-sleep transitions without excessive idle draw.

Questions about this item

What does the ATX 3.1 rating mean for transient power handling with a modern GPU?

The ATX 3.1 certification means the unit can withstand 2x transient power excursions from a graphics card, meeting the PCIe 5.1 platform requirement.

How much clearance is needed inside the case for this 160 mm long unit?

The power supply measures 160 mm in length, so the case must provide at least that much clear depth behind the mounting bracket.

Which cables must be attached during installation to power a PCIe 5.1 graphics card?

Connect the included 12VHPWR (12+4) cable directly from the modular panel to the GPU; do not use adapters or older PCIe cables for this connection.
