Basic single-line wall phone

The Cortelco 2554 is a corded telephone in an ash finish designed for single-line service. It connects directly to a standard modular wall jack without external power. The handset includes a nine-foot cord for reach around a desk or counter. A double-gong ringer provides audible alerts in busy environments.

Simple modular installation

Mount the base to the wall plate and plug the line cord into the jack; no configuration is required. The handset cord attaches with a standard modular connector that clicks into place. A loose wall-plate screw can cause the unit to tilt, so verify the mount is secure. If the ringer volume seems low, check that the handset is fully seated and the line cord is undamaged.
