Two-Step Folding Stool

The Cosco 11829GGB is a steel folding step stool finished in grey. It provides two climbing steps for reaching elevated shelves or cabinets in commercial and home-office settings. The frame folds flat for compact storage between uses. First listed by the manufacturer on 14 February 2011, it is supplied as a new unit.

Folding Frame and Steel Build

The folding mechanism lets the stool collapse to a slim profile that fits behind doors or inside narrow closets. Steel construction gives the steps a rigid feel underfoot without flex. The grey coating resists visible scuffs in busy workspaces. No tools or assembly are required before the first use.

Light-Duty Reach Tasks

The two-step height suits occasional access to overhead binders, printer trays or top-shelf supplies. It is not designed for frequent heavy-duty climbing, prolonged standing or loads that exceed the manufacturer’s rated capacity. Users needing greater working height or a platform deck should consider a taller step ladder instead.

Questions about this item

Will the steel frame of the Cosco 11829GGB need repainting or rust protection over time?

The steel construction resists corrosion under normal indoor use; wipe it clean and inspect joints periodically for any wear.

What stops the Cosco 11829GGB from being used continuously on a busy shop floor?

Does the Cosco 11829GGB become hot or noisy after staying unfolded all day?

No moving parts or electronics are present, so it produces no heat or noise during extended use.
