1.7 Litre Stainless Electric Kettle

The Cosori CGK-G173-KUS is a 1.7 litre electric kettle built with a stainless steel interior so water never touches plastic. A Strix thermostat controls the auto shut-off, which activates within 30 seconds of reaching a boil. Boil-dry protection and a cool-touch handle add further safety. A blue LED illuminates during heating.

For Pure-Taste Drinkers, Not Variable-Temp Users

This kettle suits anyone who wants fast boiling with no plastic contact and simple one-touch operation. The wide mouth and dual-angle lid make cleaning and refilling straightforward. Buyers who need precise temperature settings for speciality teas or coffee should look at a different appliance. The single boil function covers everyday hot water needs only.

Strix Thermostat Auto Shut-Off

The Strix thermostat triggers automatic shut-off within 30 seconds after the water boils, preventing over-boiling and saving energy. This single safety specification decides whether the kettle matches a buyer's requirement for reliable unattended operation. No other temperature control or hold function is included.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Cosori CGK-G173-KUS kettle and what step do people often miss?

Place the kettle on its base, plug it into a grounded outlet, and ensure the lid clicks fully shut before pressing the power switch — skipping the lid check disables the auto shut-off.

What maintenance or replacement will the Cosori CGK-G173-KUS need over time?

Descale the stainless steel interior and filter every few months depending on water hardness; the Strix thermostat and filter are not user-replaceable, so contact support if they fail.

What limit appears first during repeated boiling cycles with the Cosori CGK-G173-KUS?

The auto shut-off activates within 30 seconds after each boil, and boil-dry protection cuts power if the 1.7 L chamber runs empty, preventing overheating.
