Ready-to-play starter bass
The Costway Sonart is a full-size, four-string electric bass finished in yellow and aimed at beginners or casual players who want everything in one box. A gig bag, strap, cable, pick and setup wrench are included so the instrument can be taken to lessons or rehearsals straight away. Light weight and a comfortable neck profile make early practice sessions less tiring. The package removes the need to hunt for separate accessories.
20-fret rosewood fingerboard
The neck carries 20 frets on a rosewood board, giving a traditional scale layout that covers the standard range most entry-level material demands. Rosewood contributes a warmer tonal character compared with maple boards. An adjustable bridge lets the player set string height and intonation for clean notes across the whole register. High-tensile fret wire is specified for durability and smooth feel.
Paulownia body with maple neck
A Paulownia wood body keeps the instrument light at eight pounds while a maple neck adds stability and snap. The combination handles rock, pop, funk and jazz basics comfortably. Extended-range material or active electronics are not present, so players needing a fifth string, onboard preamp or higher-output pickups will need a different instrument. The passive single-coil-style pickup covers core tones without complication.

Questions about this item
How long is the bass once I strap it on?
The overall length is 45 inches, giving a full-size feel that reaches a normal playing position for most adults.
What does the 1/4-inch output jack actually limit when I plug into an amp or pedal?
The passive pickup feeds a standard 1/4-inch TS cable, so signal level and tone are set by the amp or pedal you connect — no onboard preamp or EQ to shape the sound first.
Will the 45-by-13-inch body fit in the included gig bag and sit on a regular stand?
Yes — the supplied Oxford waterproof bag is sized for the 45-inch length and 13-inch width, and the flat bottom lets the bass rest securely on any standard A-frame or tripod stand.
